Variant release ‘Inner Gemini’ alongside debut EP

5 Mar, 2021

Former VersaEmerge bassist, Devin Ingelido is back with his new musical endeavor and this time it takes shape as a metalcore project called Variant. The band released their debut EP, Delirium Machine, today that not only shows off the expertise of this trio as they deliver crushing riffs, ferocious vocals, and expert drum work, but also features a couple of guests.

On ‘A Much Needed Death’, listeners can expect to hear from Spiritbox vocalist, Courtney LaPlante and ‘Qualia’ features Joshua Nunn of Blueshift, Nolan Pedersen of Close Quarters, and Ray Jimenez of Acaedia.

‘Inner Gemini’, the third, and only unreleased single until today, tackles online lust. “The accepted culture of struggling women forced to expose themselves for money – while luring men into false love – forms a vicious dynamic, rooted in a deep and primal urge we all share.”
