The Lawrence Arms are back with their first album in six years

28 May, 2020

It’s been six long years without any music from Chicago bred punk trio, but The Lawrence Arms are back with news of their forthcoming album, Skeleton Coast. Set for release in July, the band’s given us a little taster to get us through the next two months.

About the album, vocalist and guitarist Chris McCaughan says: It was kind of like album camp in the sense that we were in this very remote setting for two weeks and really focusing on making the record. That was a very different experience for us because we’ve always made our records in Chicago which is home and all the things about home are in the way.”
