Following on from their debut single earlier this year, Rose Crest have returned with their new, upbeat track, ‘Slow Down’. Not only is the song next-level-catchy, but the video is a heartwarming accompaniment.
About the song, vocalist Brandon Sorrell says: “ The contrast we’ve created with “Slow Down” is something I’m personally super proud of. When I first heard the track before any of the lyrics were written or recorded, it stuck out from the rest because it sounded so upbeat and happy. It was a catchy but simple 4-chord pop rock track. I started writing the lyrics and depressed myself, which is par for the course when I’m writing. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined and it’s now a favorite of mine”
