CLUB DREAD are showing off diversity, creativity and technical ability in their newest, genre-defying single, ‘Apathetic’. Recorded and produced throughout various stages of lockdown; CLUB DREAD‘s latest offering sees the vocalist Jim Dummer acknowledging his feeling of isolation and depression throughout the last year, and attempting to learn how to continue to pick yourself up, no matter what the world throws at you.
About it, vocalist Dummer says “This new single is the acknowledgement of my unhealthy coping mechanisms… addressing them publicly was a way of calling myself out, confronting the issues and learning from them. It examines the feeling of being numb, consumed by dread or creating a distraction to avoid dealing with my issues”
