downcast release gripping new track, ‘Britannia Mills’

30 Jul, 2021

British band on the rise, downcast, have today returned with a new single, ‘Britannia Mills’, and news that the wheels are in motion for their anticipated debut album. Likely to drop next year, the crew will hopefully continue to combine the infectious sonic experience of pop punk with the emotional values of bands like The Wonder Years.

Vocalist Liam Edwards discusses the track: “‘Britannia Mills’ describes a challenging time in my life where I had to deal with a lot of traumatic experiences. I found myself in a bad situation that I eventually walked away from. The song describes the things that happened during this time and the struggles that I had following it.”
