Attendant release new single ‘Half Life’

24 Sep, 2021

Following on from ‘Doomscroller’, Attendant have released a brand-new track, ‘Half Life’. The song takes aim at mass conformity and rampant consumerism, and about it the band says:

“This song is about being your authentic self, despite commercial and social pressures to be something else. Companies want to you to identify as consumers. Politicians want to you identify as supporters. You risk becoming a robot, programmed to perform functions, like buying or voting. I’m not saying don’t buy stuff or vote – definitely vote – but constantly ask yourself whether you are doing these things on your own terms.”
